"To watch the kid knock in a hole in one on the biggest venue in the world, wow".

Nicklaus said he asked his grandson three days ago whether he wanted to take the last tee shot. As the ball rolled slowly into the hole, the younger Nicklaus threw his arms into the air and then ran to bear hug his grandfather, who wasn't ashamed to say he shed a few tears.

The crowd went nuts for GT, kind of like they have for Jack all these years.

"I can't talk", Nicklaus told ESPN after watching the shot.

"You want the best for your grandkids", Nicklaus said. "For that to happen, it was just unbelievable".

"You play it [Augusta National] every year, you can prepare for it easier, once you play the greens you should know them", added Nicklaus.

He fell to the ground and then popped it back into place.

Finau withdrew from the Par-3 Contest, though he stayed with his group for the final two holes.

Large charities pay men 8 per cent more than women
We still don't know the full list of companies with a pay gap issue, though more have promised to reveal their statistics soon. Trust chairman Dennis Dunn MBE added: "The point is we are committed as a trust to equal pay for roles of equal value".

There were also hole in ones for Dyland Fritteli and Tony Finau in the contest, Finau appearing to twist his ankle in celebrating.

"So Jack and I both designed nine-hole golf courses".

The 15-year-old was wearing his caddie bib when he approached his ball on the 135-yard hole.

Garcia, however, was just hours into his time as champion where he had a major crisis - the jacket got stained.

The two have a combined nine green jackets (though new Masters chairman Fred Ridley mistakenly said 10 on Thursday morning) and almost 100 appearances at Augusta National.

Watson did end up winning the contest with a 6-under 21, and he, Nicklaus, and Player had their fair share of highlights, from close approaches to long putts. "The ultimate decision is going to be, I'm confident, a collective one".

He said: "What I did doesn't make any difference to me".
