Tonight scattered snow showers are possible before 9 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a low around 21 degrees. Skies will be clear Wednesday night as overnight lows plunge into the low 30s.

Parts of the region are still recovering from a nor'easter that struck Friday and Saturday with snow and strong winds, toppling thousands of trees and bringing down electrical lines. Total daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible. Watch for slick spots Wednesday morning. Rain showers inch closer out of the northwest ahead of the secondary cold font and will begin dropping light and scattered rain showers through the evening. The biggest difference this time around though is the fact that this area of low pressure will not be almost as strong as last week's system, meaning that snow amounts will likely be lower for areas, especially places in the Poconos, and the winds are likely to be only a quarter of what they were on Friday. It appears the areas with the most accumulation will be from Greater Cleveland south to Medina and then east through the primary snow belt, which could receive the highest totals.
