Mark Cuban Denies Sexual Assault Allegation

According to a report in Williamette Week, a publication based in Portland, Oregon, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was accused of sexual assault by a woman in 2011, after an alleged incident in a Portland bar.

Cuban, who in addition to owning the professional basketball team stars on the ABC show "Shark Tank" and has also toyed with running for president, has denied the resurfaced allegations. The alleged victim told Willamette Week that she has moved on from the incident, but stands by her story. "These allegations are thoroughly investigated by the Multnomah County District's Attorney's Office and the Portland Police Bureau", Cuban's attorney Stephen Houze said.

"I filed the report because what he did was wrong".

According to the report, which the paper obtained through a public records request, the woman immediately told a friend and her boyfriend about what happened but didn't go to police until more than a week later. "The complainant requested documentation and investigation of her complaint but has confirmed with me she will not participate in a criminal prosecution and agrees her claim can not be proven".

However, the new report comes at a particularly inopportune time for Cuban, as it follows a high-profile Sports Illustrated report, published two weeks ago, detailing "a corporate culture rife with misogyny and predatory sexual behavior" in the Dallas Mavericks organization.

Police found insufficient evidence in the case, dropping any charge in July 2011. "I haven't thought about it for seven years".

Neymar has undergone 'successful' foot surgery
He'll miss the rest of the season for PSG, and most crucially the return leg against Real Madrid in the Champions League on March. Earlier, Paris newspaper L'Equipe reported that PSG believe Lasmar lied about Neymar's condition.

McGuire also noted the alleged victim's expression: "Her teeth are clenched, eyes wider than the other pictures and brow raised showing a look of surprise and strain".

"In both images, Cuban's right shoulder is lowered and he appears to be stretching to reach his arm down", McGuire's report says.

The women who made the allegations against Cuban stated that this occurred at The Barrel Room in Portland, Oregon after she had asked for a picture.

In case you didn't know.

"In summary, there is no evidence to corroborate the complainant's statement and there is evidence contradicting the claim", the memo concluded.
