This week, the North Coast Journal, an alternative weekly in Eureka, Calif., posted pictures of 35 people reported missing from Humboldt County.

The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office has since made contact with Martinez, per the North Coast Journal, verifying on Thursday afternoon she is alive and well, and promptly removed her from the system. However, Bekah did contact her mother; she did not follow up with the sheriff, though, and only direct contact can remove someone from the list. (Is that a better alibi than telling people you're on "The Bachelor"?) Her mother hadn't heard from her since November 12 of a year ago.

Initially, Karges said, "Martinez had reportedly come to Humboldt County to work on a marijuana farm". Her mother reported her missing on November 18 around 1 a.m., saying she had last had contact with her daughter on November 12.

A California woman, believed to be missing by her mother, isn't missing at all.

Martinez, a nanny, is actually one of 10 female contestants who remain on "The Bachelor".

Nearly immediately, a commenter replied to the Facebook post, "Yep, Rebekah Martinez is on this season of The Bachelor", and posted a picture of her computer showing Martinez's profile.

"I was just scrolling through the 35 missing people and I recognized some of them from news stories", O'Brien recalled in an interview with SFGate.

The number of people suffering from anxiety and depression has increased over recent years along with suicide rates. No one should be made to feel ashamed or isolated due to their mental health.

The 22-year-old reality show contestant was recently featured in her hometown newspaper as a missing person and it all stemmed from her time on The Bachelor.

Bekah Martinez has been making headlines for being the youngest The Bachelor bachelorette on Arie Luyendyk Jr. She didn't post again until November 23, a timespan that corresponds with her Bachelor filming schedule.

Filming on the current season of The Bachelor began in September, with Martinez saying on Instagram around then how she was giving up her phone and social media for "several weeks".

All the while, Ms. Martinez has been publicly active on Instagram and Twitter.

On Friday, she tweeted out the link to the Journal's story about the mix-up, helping it go viral.

She also took the time to mock her driver's license photo.
