Lucky Charms is retiring one of its marshmallows to add a unicorn

The unicorn was decided upon through a social media vote after General Mills asked people to vote on which marshmallow they wanted to see next, by using an emoji, reported ABC.

The hourglass, which was added in 2008, is not the first of the sugary shapes to get pulled from the lineup. The new unicorn charm, which features hues of bright purples and blues, is the first-ever marshmallow to be inspired and created by kids.
