A Montreal artist built a vehicle out of snow in a no parking zone.
The machinist and designer posted on Facebook about his personal snowmobile, and later shared a picture of a confused policeman who stopped and stood next to it.
Laprise said it took him four hours to build the vehicle, according to the New York Daily News.
Laprise's coup de gras was a real windshield wiper he had found across the street while working on the project, placed inconspicuously as if it were the only exposed part of the auto.
AOL It took the creator 4 hours to sculpt but it had the desired effect
Laprise said that getting the attention of police was an added bonus, as he had only planned to trick the snow removal team. Laprise found the lone wiper blade across the street while sculpting his creation.
A man "parked" his piece of snow art in a snow removal zone, hoping that a police officer would stop by.
"You made our evening", the officer wrote, in French, on a ticket posted by Laprise.
Amused by the false DeLorean, the officers left Laprise's auto with a ticket under its single wiper, reading, "You made our night!"
According to local media, snow ploughs destroyed the sculpture the next morning.
