Frigid Weather Forecast for New Year's Eve Across Illinois

Expect wind chills to range from 10 above zero to 10 below zero for portions of Middle Tennessee.

The National Weather Service has issued wind chill warnings and advisories across IL this New Year's Eve. Wet winter weather will not impact travel or road conditions through the holiday.

Thousands of partiers are heading out on the town for New Year's Eve in the Twin Cities despite double-digits below zero and a wind chill that feels like -25.

It won't be until we enter the weekend when upper teens on Saturday inch up to the 20s on Sunday. The cold air sticks around on Tuesday as many head back to school. Lows Sunday night were forecast at between -12 and -1 in central Indiana. High temperatures will moderate into the 30s and warmer 40s by the end of the week.

High temperatuatures will be near freezing, but most areas will stay below freezing.
