David Byrne, Dave Matthews Band, others announce shows throughout Northern California

The Dave Matthews Band will release its first album in six years this summer and embark on a tour with three New England stops. Other two-night shows include Denver, Colorado, and West Palm Beach, Florida.

A little more firm is the summer tour which opens May 18 in The Woodlands, TX and runs through September 10 at the Hollywood Bowl.

At this time, no opening act has been announced.

Festival organizers revealed that Dave Matthews Band will perform in the nation's capital on July 11.

Lee County schools also announced that after-school activities and extended day programs have been cancelled today. Students will be in school on February 16th and 19th for the two days missed from the recent snow.
