Clippers and Pistons reportedly engaged in trade talks involving Blake Griffin

The Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers could be close to a deal in a trade involving Clippers forward Blake Griffin.

This comes way out of left field, with Griffin not having been a name floated in trade rumors yet this year.

Bringing in Bradley, of course, would effectively give Booker more to do offensively, pushing him toward a primary initiator role as the team's point guard.

Frye, 6-foot-11, is averaging 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 39 games this season. Wojnarowski adds that Bradley could command in the $20 million annual range in free agency, a ridiculous amount based on his play this season. That future may or may not include shooting guard Avery Bradley, who is scheduled to be a free agent at the conclusion of this season.

The NBA's trade deadline is February 8 at 3 p.m.

Bradley, 27, has been bothered by a groin injury this season, which caused him to miss seven straight games earlier in the season. Contending teams would likely enjoy the addition of Bradley, but it all just depends on how "significant" that asking price is from Detroit.

The Pistons moved to acquired Bradley as a replacement (and upgrade) for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, but Bradley is only signed through this season. The Pistons' defensive rating with Bradley on the floor is 107.9, but when he sits, it falls to 101.5.

So as the Detroit Pistons attempt to gain a return before losing him for nothing during the summer, here are four teams that should jump at the opportunity to acquire who many consider to be one of the better two-way players in the National Basketball Association. He's certain a core player of this Pistons squad but his availability draws into question his long-term standing in Detroit after being added in a trade with the Boston Celtics in the offseason.
