The National Weather Service issued a winter weather message Friday morning warning of snow and slippery road conditions for south Jersey, Delaware and northeastern Maryland.
Temperatures at a chilly 35 degrees at 9 a.m. Friday will increase to a high near 47 this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
An employee with Bay County 911 said there have been few reported vehicle crashes Friday morning.
Total snow accumulations of 2-4 inches are expected in Barnstable, Dukes, Nantucket, Southern Bristol and Southern Plymouth counties.
