Well NBC wants to strike gold once again by bringing the series back with an all new cast that will debut in the 2018/2019 TV season.
"The Office, ' based on a BBC series of the same name, ran for nine seasons between 2005 and 2013". Focused on Michael Scott and his team at Dunder Mifflin, The Office focused on the daily life of the paper company's employees through a mockumentary style. The idea of a Schrute Farms spinoff was discussed, but ultimately never transpired. Additionally, John Krasinski is now working with Amazon Studios for their new Jack Ryan series, so he too seems an unlikely returning cast member.
The Office, one of the all-time beloved comedies, is ready to join the revival bandwagon.
Twitter Suspends Britain First Leaders Who President Trump Retweeted
Twitter also ixnayed the Britain First account, as the party's big cheese Paul Golding, various media outlets reported Monday. Tweets can still include hate imagery, but users will have to click through a warning to see them, the company said.
A search for a new regional manager to replace him is said to be underway.
But the success of NBC's recent "Will & Grace" return likely cemented the idea, and put an "Office" reboot on the fast track.
While NBC hasn't yet commented on this development, earlier in the year, network president Bob Greeblatt told Deadline that The Office was next on his wishlist. As fans of the show are well aware, it ended with more of a whimper than a bang. Now, even supporting players on the series, like Craig Robinson, who portrayed Darryl, and Mindy Kaling, who portrayed Kelly, are sitcom stars in their own right, with multiple projects in the works. And several other characters had their stories conclude in a way that suggests that they're unlikely to return. If not, a revival may lose some interest, but also be an avenue for new talent to emerge.
