"I'm not happy with the point because I wanted three, but if you can not win it, don't lose it and we kept going".

The Gunners put in yet another languid performance, as a Per Mertesacker mistake gifted Charlie Austin a goal in the 3rd minute.

"I consider Olivier Giroud as a regular player", Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said of the striker, who has lost his starting place to summer signing Alexandre Lacazette.

Wenger was very critical of his team's defensive "inefficiency" after the United defeat and conceded this afternoon that the issue was still in the minds of his error-prone defenders, which is why they repeated the same mistakes. "I'm not happy with the point because I wanted three points", he said. "That's why it's sometimes a big gamble when you [make substitutions] early".
