The trailer for Soul Calibur VI was short but sweet. In the brief trailer, we get to take a look at some of the environment with its fighting stage, with a short sight sequence featuring Mitsurugi engaging in battle with Sophitia.
Brand manager for Bandai Namco Mark Religioso weighed in on the announcement, assuring fans that "the fast and kinetic gameplay" of the original title "is on full display" within Soul Calibur VI.
Soulcalibur VI does not now have an official release date, but it is scheduled for a 2018 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game does introduce one major new mechanic to the series though: the Reversal Edge.
