The new DLC is titled "The Champions' Ballad".

We knew it was coming out sometime before the end of the year, but Nintendo still managed to surprise people and release The Champions' Ballad without any warning. It sets its focus on the four Champions of Hyrule- Revali, Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa. It turns out you actually have to complete the entire Champions' Ballad DLC quest, and only after that are you granted the Master Cycle Zero as a reward.

Certainly, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" has won a lot of love over the past few months, and is probably the most beloved of the year's releases that haven't debuted on a Nintendo platform.

The Hero of Hyrule is back once again, this time with a major expansion to the already massive "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild".

Gamers try out the new to play the new video game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" in the Nintendo booth during the annual E3 2016 gaming conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 14, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

During the Breath of the Wild GDC 2017 panel in March, members of the Zelda development team showed off a host of concept art for potential Link's they dreamed up ahead of BotW's development.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available globally now for both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. The game was praised for its open-ended nature and for its physics-driven gameplay. The first expansion content, "The Master Trials", offered challenges aimed at dedicated players.

Even though The Game Awards have a panel of judges picked from within the industry that decide their winners, it's hard to separate the cult that has formed around "Zelda" from the positive experience that actually comes from the game.
