Sam Allardyce signs 18-month deal with Everton

They've had plenty of abuse thrown their way from rival fans as well as their own frustrated followers.

Sky Sports has reported that the 58-year-old will arrive at Goodison Park as the new number two to Sam Allardyce, who is expected to be announced as the new Everton manager on Wednesday night ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham.

Earlier on in the season they tweeted a congratulations message to Arsenal after a 5-2 victory against the Toffees.

Allardyce has been out of management since his surprise decision to quit Crystal Palace at the end of last season, having succeeded in a six-month mission to keep them in the top-flight.
