Just when we thought we've swooned enough for the engagement announcement of His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they just simply release their official engagement photos on Instagram.

"As a way to say thank you, they have chose to share this candid photograph from the day of their portrait sittings directly with all of you", said the Kensington Palace release.

Lubomirski spent four years as an assistant to Mario Testino, the famed fashion photographer who took the engagement photos of Prince Harry's brother, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Someone must have forgot to tell Princess Michael that Prince Harry is fiercely loyal to his bride to be.

Meghan's partly see-through full-length gown, made by Ralph and Russo, is another example of the American breaking royal tradition and is reported to cost $US70,000 ($90,000).

BJP created 'so-called' 2G scam out of fear: Congress
When assembly or parliament elections will start, I will also show them what a "yatra" is? The Congress got its highest number of seats in Gujarat assembly polls in the last 27 years but party lost power in Himachal Pradesh.

A black and white photo was also shared, which captures the couple's happiness perfectly.

Meghan holds the prince's face, with her engagement ring prominent, as he wraps his arms around her.

The other photograph shows the couple, dressed smartly, on the steps of Frogmore with the former U.S. actress just below her fiance.

But those thinking that her formal introduction into the royal family's festive proceedings was all eggnog and carols should perhaps look towards Princess Michael of Kent. Their marriage will take place in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Since the couple formally announced their engagement last month, it seems there's been news about them all the time - not that fans of the royal family are complaining.

In 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their own engagement photos prior to their big day, and they look an terrible lot like Harry and Meghan's photos.
