ESPN reports that Fisher will leave the program prior to Saturday's regular season finale with ULM to take the same position at Texas A&M after eight seasons as the head coach of the Seminoles.

Fisher will not coach FSU in its final game on Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe. Longtime assistant coach and former Seminole All-American Odell Haggins will be the interim head coach.

Fisher was in his eighth year as FSU's head coach with an 83-23 overall record. FSU was committed to pay Fisher more than $50 million when that contract was put in place last December.

Brad Smith, Microsoft's president and chief legal officer, said the new campus will be more open and less formal. The bridge will also tie into a forthcoming Link Light Rail station set to arrive in 2023.

"Obviously, he feels like it's the right move for him". "I know he did an unbelievable job at Florida State". Fisher has spoken about his desire for Florida State to add its own football-only building. It's been a great, competitive journey. How much cash will they have if Fisher delivers teams at A&M like he had at Florida State? I expect them to make a hire in the coming week or so whoever the new coach turns out to be.

Texas A&M has invested heavily in facilities the past five years, including a football operations center. "I don't have any doubt about that". And I guess we'll see (Fisher) next year, if that's what he's going to do.

Texas A&M has not made any formal announcement about hiring a replacement for Kevin Sumlin, who was sacked last week. "He'll still be a thorn in our side". Sumlin, Oregon's Willie Taggart, South Florida's Charlie Strong and Virginia Tech's Justin Fuente are options who might be considered.
