Israel responds with raids to Gaza rockets

"The Iron Dome air-defense system intercepted two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip", the newspaper reported.

Israeli tanks and jets launched attacks against the Gaza Strip on Friday in retaliation to Palestinian rocket fire against southern Israel.

A military spokesperson said in a statement that the rocket fell in one of the kibbutzim, small rural communities, in the Sha'ar Ha'negev Regional Council.

Hamas said there were no injuries in the strikes.
