An Ohio couple says they chose to put their son's picture onto bottles of wine and distribute them to his teachers because the educators deserved more than the typical thank you gift.
But Mary Sommers of metro Dayton, Ohio said the teachers who taught her son this year deserved something a little more intoxicating. It's a photo of Jake Sommers, with the title "our child might be the reason you drink, so enjoy this bottle on us". So far, it has had more than 5,400 retweets and 36,000 shares. "This year they got them bottles of wine and replaced the labels with their own with my brother on them". "Happy holidays", DJ wrote on Twitter.
He said his parents chose the gift to recognize that while Jake isn't a bad kid, he is "that kid".
Facebook Transparency Report reveals government requests for data still increasing
There has also been a slight increase in the percentage of requests that have prompted data to be disclosed. Facebook restricted access in Mexico to 20,506 posts of the video in the first half of 2017 alone.
Mary Sommers said the wine bottles seemed like an appropriate gift. "[Jake] always has something to say".
"None of the teachers were shocked by it", she told Buzzfeed.
"I guess my teachers deserve [the wine]", he said.
