Authorities did not release much additional information in statements Friday, though they indicated a news conference Monday will provide updates. The girl's mother, Scarlet, thanked law enforcement across the country and in NY for their help.

Frisina fled with 27-year-old Rian Rodriguez from her Florida hometown about a week ago, sending local and federal law enforcement into a massive search and prompting the girl's parents to make an emotional plea for her safe return.

A missing Florida teenage girl has been found safe, authorities said Friday, almost one week after the teen allegedly left home with a local soccer coach 10 years her senior. It's believed she left voluntarily with him, authorities said earlier.

Rodriguez was initially detained on a warrant for interference with child custody.

According to Murray Smith, the public relations officer for the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, the police believed that there was the "blossoming of a potential relationship", between Frisina and Rodriguez, ABC News reported.

Sheriff Mark Hunter didn't detail the relationship between Frisina and Rodriguez and said his primary focus was to bring the teen home safely.

According to reports, investigators have since notified Frisina's parents that she had been found safe. According to authorities in Florida, the teen left her home on her own and left her cell phone after wiping the device clean.

Officials at Fort White High School have suspended Rodriguez.

"Video from the store showed Rian and Caitlyn, which confirmed to us they were together", Hunter said.
