This can make it hard for smaller companies to enter the industry, but it hasn't stopped the gaming brand Razer from taking on the smartphone kingpins.

The Razer Phone packs a large 4,000 mAh battery, one of the largest capacities found on smartphones today.

As well as specs geared specifically towards gamers, the phone also has 12MP dual cameras and dual tone flash. The Razer Phone releases in North America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Denmark, and Sweden for $700 Dollars / £700 GBP / €750 Euro. Mobile games are being optimized by partners for Razer Phone's UltraMotion display with frame rates of up to 120 frames per second. And from the way things have shaped up, it looks the new Razer Phone is here for the long run.

The premium smartphone market is dominated by Apple and Google. Just a USB-C port for charging - though Razer also includes a headphone adaptor if you really need to be plugged in.

Just like the Nextbit phone before it, this smartphone has a fingerprint scanner under its power button. Its refresh rate can be configured up to 120Hz, twice what's offered by most regular smartphones.

Broncos' Vance Joseph on change at QB: 'Anything's possible'
While Siemian's job remains safe for right now, there is no doubting that the pressure is on him to start performing. According to a source , if the Broncos do make a change it will likely be to former first-round pick Paxton Lynch .

The Razer Phone is powered by Dolby Atmos technology to provide true cinematic audio via front-firing speakers with dual dedicated amplifiers.

The display also boasts of what Razer calls as the Ultramotion technology that essentially syncs the screen refresh rate with the frame rate that the graphics processor outputs. The device has 64GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

It'll come running Android 7.1, which will be updated to Oreo in Q1 2018, with the customisable Nova Launcher on top. Also, it's worth noting that the Razer Phone, the OnePlus 5, and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 are the only three phones in the list with 8GB of RAM.

In their official announcement, Razer described the Razer Phone as "the ultimate in mobile entertainment". Razer wanted to build a phone intended for gamers first, and a riff on the Robin, which we called "an fantastic 1.o device", was the best path forward.

As the device is marketed for Gaming purposes, there wasn't much expectation in the camera department, however, the phone seems to have taken care of it anyway. However, Razer hasn't given estimates on battery life duration for any type of conditions, although the Game Booster app will let users tinker power and performance of the phone. We've gone over some of the details on this device in brief already - like when and how you'll be able to get one.
