Whittaker is the first female to play The Doctor in the long-running BBC series.
With the addition of braces which hark back to the eccentricity of the Second and Eleventh Doctors (Patrick Troughton and #MattSmith), this really is a bold and retro look for the new Doctor - and the TARDIS too! The multiple earrings are just icing on the cake. So when Jodie Whittaker makes her debut as the Thirteenth Doctor next month, she'll literally be wearing Peter Capaldi's pants.
But Whittaker is also rocking her own style, putting a fresh, feminine twist on the 13 outfits that came before. It's more than an honor to play the Doctor. The stripe across her shirt instantly makes me think of Colin Baker's 6th Doctor coat and Tom Baker's 4th Doctor scarf. A Time Lord having timeless fashion, could the Doctor Who staff be so brilliant in their designing of this outfit?
There are a lot of colors present in Whittaker's costume; once again a touch that seems to look to the Doctor Who days of old. In October the BBC announced the season regulars who will travel time and space with the new Doctor.
Broadcom offers to buy Qualcomm in $130bn deal
According to sources Qualcomm is not aware of the details of Broadcom's bid and the company has yet to make any comment. Industry analysts believe that if Apple does not challenge the deal, it's one hurdle that Broadcom will have cleared.
But does the Thirteenth Doctor's outfit hold any clues about the future of her tenure?
It's not gone unnoticed by fans with one saying it "has great elements from previous Doctors". Moving away from Peter Capaldi's grumpy magician look, it seems that this new Doctor will be a bit more quirky and vibrant.
She will be joined in the cast by Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill and Sharon D Clarke. Download it today and continue to enjoy STV News wherever you are.
