HTC U11 Getting Android Oreo Update Today, Starting With Unlocked Units

Now, the company has announced that HTC U11 users in the United States will be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update starting from today. Manually searching for the update is also an option that can be performed by tapping the corresponding command in the "About Device" section of the HTC U11's Settings app.

Mo Versi also confirmed that the company is working on the Oreo update for the HTC U Ultra, HTC U10, and HTC U11 Life, but there's no estimated time for the update roll out for these phones though. Even so, in the end, the Android Oreo upgrade will reach all HTC U11 units in the US.
