That's because the ZR1 comes with an exclusive 6.2-liter supercharged V8 LT5 engine good for a meaty 755 horsepower (563 kilowatts) at 6,300 rpm and a rocket-ship 715 pound-feet (969 Newton-meters) of maximum torque at 4,400 rpm.

There will be no mistaking a ZR1 from the other high performance Corvette variant.

The 2019 Corvette ZR1's aggressive appearance is driven by function, contributing to its distinction as the fastest production Corvette to date.

This is it. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, debuting GM's awesome new LT5 V8 engine.

This OnePlus 5 successor will sport an anodized aluminium body with 6.01-inch 2160x1080p AMOLED screen and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. According to the Geekbench scores, the OnePlus 5T is able to score almost 7,000 points in the multi-core test results.

Chevy hasn't revealed how quick it is, but says the ZR1 will break the 210 miles per hour barrier, which could put it within range of the $450,000 2016 miles per hour Ford GT.

GM revealed the auto at a studio sound stage on Sunday, and it will be featured at the Dubai Motor Show on Tuesday where it will be shown with many other six- and seven-figure luxury vehicles. The kit also brings bespoke tuning of the chassis and Magnetic Ride Control, along with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 summer tyres. GM added another four radiators to the mix to prevent overheating, and so the ZR1 has a total of 13 heat exchangers.

Pricing has not yet been announced; it should be known closer to the arrival of the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 on the market next spring. The bonnet features a new carbon-fibre "halo" design specially developed to help cool the big engine. The one you see here is the ZTK Performance Pack, or "High Wing", which comes with an imposing rear spoiler, and produces what Chev claims is 60 percent more downforce than the Z06's Z07 performance pack. The ZR1 will be available with a choice of either a 7-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic for the first time. An optional two-way adjustable high wing is estimated to add 431 kg of downforce for increased high-speed stability and faster track lap times.

In addition, a Sebring Orange Design Package is available which includes orange brake calipers, orange rocker and splitter accent stripes, orange seat belts, orange interior stitching and bronze-aluminium interior trim. Both of the wing options are tied into the chassis, which is how it is in the Corvette Racing C7.R version, ass well. The nose of the ZR1, meanwhile, has been heavily redesigned to provide additional airflow for the engine and cooling systems.
