Teens Love the App TBH, so Facebook Is Buying TBH

Now Facebook is buying the app and Facebook is permitting the app to run as it did before, which is parallel to how other social networking apps worked.

As everyone has probably guessed, tbh stands for "to be honest".

The California-based tech giant highlighted that the last decade of the internet was based on open communication.

Although users can submit their own poll questions, TBH says it reviews those entries and accepts only submissions that are uplifting, not offensive, appropriate for people ages 13 and older, and that are amusing or interesting. The app works by allowing users to choose the school they attend, and then it prompts them with polls about their classmates with questions like "Who is most likely to be president?" or "Best person to go on a roadtrip with".

According to TechCrunch's sources, Facebook paid less than Dollars 100 million for the company. A billion messages have already been sent through the app. Also, all the answers are saved so that the user can read them whenever they want.

Price was suspended indefinitely from his position at Amazon Studios on Thursday evening, the same day THR published its report. Price could not immediately be reached independently by Reuters and he declined to comment to the Hollywood Reporter .

Perhaps most clearly, TBH is yet another channel where Facebook can command the time and attention of young people. "Most of all, we were compelled by the ways they could help us realize our vision and bring it to more people".

"We wanted to create a community that made us feel happier and more confident about ourselves", the tbh's management team notes in a new blog post.

The tbh team says, "When we met with Facebook, we realized that we shared numerous same core values about connecting people through positive interactions".

Facebook spokesperson Vanessa Chan told Business Insider that the team will move into the social media company's headquarters in Silicon Valley from its original workplace in Oakland, California. For any further need, you can take notes.
