"Much like the One X, we've designed the Stay n' Play to give players the most immersive gaming experience possible", said Business Group Lead at Xbox Australia, Jeremy Hinton.

Guests will be able to check in using their Xbox Gamertag on site.

As of today, Xbox One owners can now play a selection of 13 original Xbox games on their systems including Fusion Frenzy, Dead to Rights, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and one of my favorite games ever made, Star Wars: Knights of The old Republic. The temporary hotel will have four main suites, each themed after a different game; Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin's Creed: Origins and Minecraft suites have already been confirmed. Overnight accommodation is available on a first come, first serve basis, with check-in at 8pm and check-out by 8am.

As there is expected to be a high-demand for reserved suites, the Xbox Stay N' Play will also have a lobby offering walk-in gameplay opportunities from 8am until 8pm each day. You don't have to sleep over, as you can also book a two-hour slot during the day.

Furthermore, many manufacturers have their own user interface that is unique to their products. Both of these updates will upgrade the Android operating system of the phones to version 8.0.

A limited set of games have been added to the backwards compatability programs as of October 24th, and Phil Spencer says more games are on the way - although the games list will be much more limited than the massive list of 360 games available on the Xbox One console. Each room has been designed with our fans in mind.

To reserve your place at the Xbox Stay n' Play hotel, head to the Eventbrite page. And to help celebrate the launch of Original Xbox games into the Xbox One Backward Compatibility library, Xbox Game Pass members get access to Xbox Original Ninja Gaiden Black for free as a part of their membership to the game subscription service.

Original Xbox game backward compatability has finally arrived on the Xbox One.
