A24 has shared the first official trailer for The Disaster Artist-James Franco's new movie about the making of Tommy Wiseau's cult film The Room.

The Disaster Artist opens December 1. When the two took the stage together after the movie, Franco occasionally slipped back into his Wiseau voice, and if you'd closed your eyes it would have been hard to distinguish the two.

The film received rave reviews at SXSW and the Toronto Film Festival, while it has also inexplicably becoming part of the Oscar conversation. We shot at locations that I had hung out at when I was a struggling actor coming up in L.A., and just their story of trying to make it, I can relate to. "You've done some good things, some bad things, '" Franco told Vanity Fair. Franco's brother Dave Franco portrays co-star and friend Sestero. Hope you're doing okay. And the rest of the cast is seriously impressive, featuring Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, Sharon Stone, Bryan Cranston, Kristen Bell, Adam Scott, Alison Brie, Zach Braff, J.J. Abrams, Judd Apatow and Melanie Griffith.

All Blacks expect huge test from resurgent Boks
All Blacks flanker Sam Cane admits that South Africa would push his side to the limit in this week's Rugby Championship clash. And head coach Steve Hansen feels his team would benefit from the return of Smith to the XV.

The Disaster Artist is about that ownership and how the path there came from the friendship between Wiseau and Sestero.

The film is out in the United Kingdom in December and should arrive in the United Kingdom not long afterwards. There are also a couple of callbacks to The Room in the trailer as well, including some awkward football throwing and Wiseau's insistence that he has to show his ass to sell the movie.
