Pelosi, top White House official open on border security

Pelosi at her weekly press conference Thursday clarified Democrats had not reached agreement with Trump on a proposal.

The Department of Homeland Security is no longer accepting new applications for DACA submitted after September 5. "I think it's something that we need to look at on a bipartisan basis, so to the extent that he can help get Democrats at the table to talk about border security, he can also get Republicans to the table about how to deal with DREAMers".

Sixteen state attorneys general have filed a lawsuit challenging Trump's ending of the DACA program, and immigrant rights activists say they will pressure Congress to pass Dream Act legislation.

"I have an obligation to protect the 800,000 from an arbitrary and capricious implementation of a legislative rule, which this may or may not be", the judge said.

Trump did not appear to be facing a fully-fledged mutiny, yet, over his seeming willingness to put the border wall project on the back burner. "They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own", Trump tweeted at 5:35 a.m. EST, "brought in by parents at young age".

On Thursday, San Jose filed a complaint alleging rescission of DACA has hurt the city, its residents and city employees, some of whom are DACA recipients.

Iowa congressman and racist imbecile Steve King, possibly through sobs so heavy they briefly threatened to overpower him, mournfully declared the president's credibility to be in shambles and his base "blown up, destroyed, irreparable, and disillusioned beyond fix".

A chapter of these terrorists has been closed. "The special thing about this operation is that it was based on wishes of people". Vaid said: "Police was after him for quite some time and finally we have been able to gun him down".

But the biggest contradiction of all was when Mr. Trump said that nobody wants to deport the young immigrants, "Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? To my knowledge, there's been no deal that's been struck between [Senate Minority Leader] Chuck Schumer, [House Minority Leader] Nancy Pelosi and the president", Meadows said. "But in giving Congress six months, with all the other things going on right now, the debt limit, the appropriations, tax reform, it's not certainly on the top of the agenda right now".

It was a head-snapping series of events for a president whose White House campaign demonized immigrants and focused intensely on construction of a border wall that Trump insisted Mexico would pay for.

In later comments in Fort Myers, Florida, where he was viewing disaster response efforts, Trump emphasized that an agreement on DACA would only allow the young immigrants, who were often brought into the country as small children by their families, to stay in the US.

Trump's hypocrisy was shown when he couldn't even make the statement to end DACA himself.

Those protected by the legislation are known as "DREAMers" after the Dream Act that was first introduced in 2001 but stalled in Congress for many months, leading to President Obama enacting DACA.

U.S. Rep. Bill Flores, R-Bryan, said he was optimistic a deal could be reached.

"Well, many Republicans really like it", the President said about DACA. He also never said he wants to end the program and never implement another version of it.
