This is actually a new feature called Story Remix, where users will be able to create video clips from photos and videos in their library, and add text, music and transitions.

OneDrive Files On-Demand will store all of your data in the cloud and only download it when you actually want to use relevant files.

At this point, Windows 10 is running on more than 500 million devices, Meyerson wrote. The update improves Windows Inking, making stylus controls more accurate than ever.

Sharapova fights back to claim victory in second round of US Open

As one of the biggest first-party drivers of its hardware in the past, Microsoft will no doubt be hoping that Halo can once again do the same for its new hardware platform. In addition to software written for Microsoft's Mixed Reality API, they will also support the SteamVR platform, so a library of suitable games should materialize soon.

Asus' Mixed Reality headset is set for the spring 2018 release, and it will be priced at $535. One that is easy to setup, not requiring you to mount cameras around the room, just put the headset on your head, plug it into your PC and get started, leaving your hands free to interact with the mixed world. It's the most expensive headset in the range at approximately $535, and it's not clear why the company is releasing it months after competitors.

Not everything has made it into the 2017 update, however, so we'll have to wait until 2018 for some of the other major features.

The update will arrive slightly later than expected, with the firm announcing earlier this year it would aim to deliver two features updates to Windows on PCs and servers each year, around March and September.
