Apple TV 4K HDR is built on the groundbreaking A10X Fusion chip - the same chip that powers iPad Pro.

Apple said it's been working with movie studios to bring titles with 4K and HDR to its iTunes store. 4k movies will cost the same as regular HD content now and if you've previously bought iTunes content in HD, Apple will upgrade those to 4k for free.

The Apple TV 4K is priced at US$179 for 32GB storage, and the 64GB model is $199.

Those unfamiliar with High Dynamic Range or HDR technology, the term comes from the photography world and refers to the depth of colour and black levels present in a photograph.

You'll also find CBS News, The Weather Channel, Vimeo, YouTuibe, Facebook Videos, VEVO, PBS and many other apps that allow you to stream videos and movies to your TV with a purchase or with a subscription. We may also get some more details on the release date, as well as the new and that's slated for 2018. For more information, don't forget to check out our Apple TV 4K preview.

Apple will also partner That Gaming Company to introduce anew game that works with 4K HDR, called Sky.

Bad news for Slaven Bilic after West Ham's win over Huddersfield
Andy Carroll ( West Ham United): Carroll made his first start in five months after injury, and showed just how important he is. Certainly, it was a vast improvement on the first three games when West Ham conceded 10 goals in three defeats.

Two years on, we're FINALLY getting a 4K-capable upgrade, plus HDR support. It can even control your smart home devices if they're Apple HomeKit-compatible. Think about it. Apple is probably going to sell a $1k iPhone 8, and people will buy it. The existing fourth-generation Apple TV will continue to be available for $149.

Apple themselves are also investing $1 billion into creating up to ten original shows, that rival the quality of Amazon and Netflix.

Alongside the hardware changes, there have been a number of software changes to the Apple TV, which will run on the new tvOS 11 and use the new TV app.

Apple has recently started putting 4K/HDR content on iTunes, and more is coming. Also, if you are living in Canada or Australia, Apple TV will reach both these countries by the end of this month and will be supported across 5 more countries by the end of this year.

This year we got a single sign-on mode, plus (for US users) a global search tool to help you find any programme you want.
