Tom Cruise injured in filming 'Mission: Impossible' stunt

Actor Tom Cruise appeared to injure himself Sunday when he slammed into the side of a building during a jumping stunt on the London set of "Mission Impossible 6".

There is no surprise Cruise was in such a unsafe situation, and it's also not the first time something like this has happened considering numerous man's films feature risky action scenes.

After hoisting himself onto the building, Cruise limps before collapsing near crew members.

Mission: Impossible 6 is due out on July 27, 2018.

However, the property owner will need to file an extension because they are redesigning the entire cable system. Both the driver of the BMW and the driver of the Tahoe were reportedly okay after the incident.

In addition to the rooftop leaping scenes, Cruise has also been filming risky stunts in Paris, reports The Telegraph, including one in which he slams a motorcycle into a vehicle before flipping through the air.

The 55-year-old actor was filming the latest movie in the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise - in which he plays International Monetary Fund agent Ethan Hunt - over the weekend when he was hurt on set. The upcoming film's producer, David Ellison, stated that Cruise began training right after the release of Rogue Nation.

Aside from Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise is also set to start working on a sequel to the hit movie Top Gun - 1986! "It's gonna be mind-blowing". The extent of his injuries are now unclear.

Mission: Impossible 6 is now expected to hit theaters on July 27, 2018.
