While the series is an Apple Music exclusive, Corden shared the first six minutes from the episode on the Late Late Show YouTube page.

The show is based on the popular Carpool Karaoke segment from The Late Late Show with James Corden. The first installment stars James Corden and Will Smith.

As they drove around Los Angeles, Smith explained: "It was the first time we met".

The episode opened with the pair singing Smith's classic track Gettin' Jiggy With It, before stopping the vehicle and being joined by a passing marching band.

"Carpool Karaoke: The Series", Apple's second original series, has debuted and is now available to stream for Apple Music subscribers.

Smith, 48, is the first celebrity to join James Corden in Apple Music's spin-off of the Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke.

"He told me he felt confident that I had the ears to play the role", Smith joked. And by "in talks", Smith means he's talked about it before - with Barack Obama, no less.

Last night Apple launched the premiere of its second original television series, Carpool Karaoke. "It's thrilling to me, you know?" In a preview, the duo settle in for some of Smith's biggest "90s hits, including "Boom!" Watch the whole series as released on Apple Music.

But Corden, who is an executive producer on the show said that the family should decide whether it is aired.

Next week's episodes (premiering August 15) will feature Alicia Keys and John Legend, plus and Metallica and Billy Eichner.
