"By starting "Run The Rock 2020", I hope to harness that energy and help persuade Mr Johnson that America needs his leadership now".

A mysterious filing with the US Federal Election Commission (FEC) has prompted the freaky question: Could former professional wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson trump a reality TV star for the US presidency?

The committee has registered "Run the Rock 2020", - the name of the official organization on behalf of the actor with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday, according to FEC records.

US Plans New THAAD Missile Defense Test Amid North Korea Tensions
Created to shoot down short, medium and intermediate ballistic missiles, each THAAD system is comprised of five major components. The joint statement claimed that Washington was using North Korea as a pretext to expand its military infrastructure in Asia.

Whether Dwayne Johnson is seriously thinking of running for President of the US or not, it would seem that people out there legitimately want him to. "I know it's nearly a cliche at this point, but I think it's tragic that our President (Donald Trump) has not made a serious effort to unite the country".

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has said in the past that he would consider running for president in 2020, either for attention or because we live in a world where anything is possible in the absolutely worst sense of that phrase. In an interview with the magazine GQ, Dwayne openly said that he would run in the 2020 election. Especially when you disagree with me. "I'm not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure". After months of joking about a presidential run, a campaign committee has formally filed to draft the Baywatch star for president.

"Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important", he told GQ's Caity Weaver. Then again, maybe he just really believes Johnson could be an awesome President. "And I, of course, would get the minority vote because everyone just assumes that I'm - well, whatever they are".
