Three lawmakers question Kushner Cos on concerns over White House tie

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Wednesday referred all questions related to the FBI's Russian Federation investigation from now on to President Trump's lawyer, Marc Kasowitz.

Dubke's job was to work behind-the-scenes managing the White House communications strategy and responses to crises, such as the firing of FBI director James B. Comey, the investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 US election, and Jared Kushner's allegedly back channel communications with the Kremlin.

"I'm going to read you a list of White House officials who sometime speak for the Trump administration", the poll question asked.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

There are now 442 key executive branch positions that President Donald Trump has not nominated anyone for, and that process may stall even further given a brewing controversy over the president and his associates' potential ties to Russian Federation.

He says Trump is best served by having staff around him who know him well.

"While the various congressional and law enforcement investigations continue, the White House should take all possible steps to protect national security including immediately revoking Mr. Kushner's security clearance", the letter read.

Rain rescues Australia against NZ as match abandoned
The match between New Zealand and Australia was abandoned due to rain in the second clash of the Champions Trophy 2017 on Friday. The all-rounder was followed off the pitch by the rest of the players though as the heavens opened again to curtail the match .

But some of the sources close to Spicer warned that scuttlebutt about impending shakeups has been a feature of Trump's tenure in the White House since the beginning, and yet little has actually shaken up.

Dubke offered his resignation earlier this month, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told The Associated Press on Tuesday, but offered to stay on during the president's first foreign trip.

Daily White House briefings have been dominated by questions about Russian Federation, and Trump's advisers feared the controversy could seep into Trump's foreign trip if he held a news conference.

"Mike will assist with the transition and be a strong advocate for the president and the president's policies moving forward", Priebus said.

Spicer's evasive posture has given many pundits an opening to do one of the things that have him so frustrated: speculate about impending changes to the White House press briefing or a reorganization of the communications team, including formalizing the reduced length of the Q&A portion.

A top communications aide to President Donald Trump has resigned, in what many inside and outside the White House see as the first shoe to drop before a wider overhaul.

Speaking to "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday, Lewandowski said: "When you have a communications team, they have to have that relationship with the president to understand how he communicates".
