While, results are out for Delhi, Allahabad, Chennai, Dehradun and Trivandrum, the results for Bhubaneswar is yet to be declared.

Central Board of Secondary Education Board announced the Class 10th Results 2017 today June 03rd 2017.

Sources told PTI that the pass percentage of the exam fell to 90.95 percent from 96.21 percent a year ago, registering a dip of over 5 percent.

16,67,573 students appeared for CBSE Class 10 exam this year.

A similar crisis was witnessed when the board had declared its Class XII results a few days back.

However, the board has been embroiled in controversy over its marks moderation policy.

The pass percentage was better for board-based exams in Delhi as compared to overall CBSE figures. "Unlike other boards, CBSE has ended the rat race for marks".

As per the conversion of marks into grades, results indicated that numerous Mumbai-based students secured a 10 on 10 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
