When talk show host James Corden announced that he was going back to his home turf London, fans of the Late Late Show were excited with the very famous and British guest list he had lined up.

"Just him, no security or anything, he came to this really, really filthy dive bar", Sheeran recalled, before getting to the insane part of his story.

Following a rendition of 'SING' also from Divide where Corden pulled off the rap interlude, Corden said he wanted to clear something up. "I couldn't disagree more".

Sheeran recounted the time he and Bieber were in Tokyo together.

Sheeran's underdog persona at first appears at odds with his sex-god lyrics, but it tends to come with a faint tinge of leering: He is so sad, so lonely, and so underappreciated; wouldn't it be wonderful if some nice girl would comfort him?

Departing champion Muguruza breaks down in tears
The 13th seed is carrying the hopes of the home nation, who have waited 17 years to celebrate a French singles champion. Between the setbacks and the nerves and the inconsistent form, Muguruza is confrontational, a fighter, an aggressor...

'I'd wake up every morning and there would be like 50 messages and none of the would say "hey, how are you?" it would be like "can I have this?"

"We ended up at this golf course. He was actually really cool about it and just carried on".

The singer hoped on for Corden's renowned Carpool Karaoke segment and he kicked things off with his recent track.

"I've been glued to this guitar since I was 11 years old and it's just been a way that if it ever feels awkward, I just bring it out". I was quite an unfortunate looking kid.

When Corden and Sheeran weren't discussing Bieber, they were singing their way through the hits-Sheeran's, as well as a Bieber jam and One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful"-and testing the rumor that Sheeran can fit 47 Maltesers in his mouth".
