Just minutes after the sexual assault charges were announced, however, Mark Dantonio, head football coach at Michigan State University, dismissed all three players from the program.

Former players Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance were charged with sexual assault and kicked off the team Tuesday. King was charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of capturing/distributing image of an unclothed person.

Robertson was dismissed from the team in April after he was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct. "We are alleging that on the night of January 16, those three persons sexually assaulted a woman in an East Lansing apartment on campus".

It is then claimed that Vance and Corley were each allowed into the bathroom by King, and they both forced the woman to perform oral sex on them.

Corley was Michigan State's second-leading receiver in 2016, with 453 receiving yards as a freshman.

King, who was also entering his sophomore season after playing in nine games as a true freshman, recording 10 total tackles, 1.5 of which were for a loss.

Around the same time Breslin was talking to reporters, the school released the report from Jones Day, the law firm Michigan State retained to investigate independently whether football staffers complied with university policy in connection with the sexual assault allegations.

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday that he made a decision to dismiss all three players immediately after charges were filed because their "morals were not where they needed to be".

Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio said he views the sexual assault charges brought against his players this spring as a chance to "re-center" the program and reinforce what he sees as its core principles.

Messages were left seeking comment from attorneys representing King and Vance.

A Title IX investigation completed last month found that the trio violated Michigan State's relationship violence and sexual misconduct policy. Robertson was kicked off the team in April after he was charged with a separate sexual assault in Meridian Township.

Arrest warrants have been issued for three former Michigan State University football players stemming from a sexual assault case. The report said Dantonio "took prompt and decisive action" with respect to the January incident. "There's a whole lot more out there".

The university said police were working with the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office, and after the investigation, they would forward their findings for review for possible charges. "As appropriately noted by Prosecutor Siemon in her statement, the charge is only an accusation and Mr. Corley is presumed to be innocent. You do the math, I guess". Attorneys for the athletes have maintained their clients' innocence.
