Roberts, capped 91 times by Wales, failed to gain selection for this year's Lions after starring in the combined side's 2-1 series triumph in Australia four years ago after also featuring in their 2009 tour of South Africa. In the backs, Aled Davies, Steff Evans, Keelan Giles, Owen Williams, Rhun Williams and Tomos Williams. "I've got my clothes sorted for the next 10 years".

New Zealand has confirmed it will play a one-off rugby test against Samoa on June 16, eight days before the first of its three test matches against the British and Irish Lions.

Robin McBryde heads up the Wales coaching team with Warren Gatland and Rob Howley on British and Irish Lions duty in New Zealand.

"I'm excited for the new players in the squad as they get the chance to test themselves at this level, and also for the more established players who now have a chance to become leaders in this team".

And McBryde called on other senior players to show their leadership credentials in and exciting tour for the Wales squad.

McBryde said: "We are going there with the view of giving ourselves the best opportunity to win two tough games".

Harden, Rockets rout Spurs 125-104 to tie series
The Rockets outscored the Spurs 34-23 in the third period, hitting eight 3-pointers. "Keep pressing them, go up 50 if we can". Houston Rockets center Nene is out for the rest of the season, a day after he tore a muscle in his left thigh.

"We play Wales straight after the All Blacks in Samoa so it's great to have two tier one countries in build-up, leading to those qualification games later".

"And should they come knocking on our door, we've got to be able to provide them with support, without leaving ourselves too exposed, so all that is in the mix".

Stalwarts Read and Kaino in particular - suffering from thumb and knee issues respectively - are unlikely to play much, if any, rugby before the Samoa match.

The Tonga-Wales Test will be staged first, followed by New Zealand-Samoa later in the evening. "That was quite an experienced side and guys were coming to the end of their careers so this time around we're rebuilding Manu Samoa", he said.

"If we manage to pull off two victories with 17 or 18 of our top internationals missing, it would be as good an achievement as I've ever achieved with Wales", Edwards said.
