Man United, Ajax set up final clash

Manchester United want to win the Europa League for their injured teammates and the suspended Eric Bailly and, Matteo Darmian has said.

Skomina started his worldwide career since 2003, and was also in charge for United's 1-1 draw with Benfica in 2011 and their 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen in 2013, both in the Champions League.

"I am very happy in Manchester, they make me feel important and I hope to stay for a long time".

"We go to Stockholm to win the Europa League because it's a great opportunity for us to play Champions League next season". "But over the two games I think our qualification was deserved".

"We have to remember that we scored three goals".

Ajax advanced to their first European final in 21 years despite a 3-1 defeat to Lyon in France, the Dutch side progressing 5-4 on aggregate. They claimed a Champions League crown in the 1994-95 season under former United manager Louis van Gaal and also won the Uefa Cup, the Europa League's predecessor, in 1991/92.

This pragmatic and ultra-cautious approach driven by an innate fear of failure more than an appetite to win has been the staple diet of Mourinho's managerial career ever since he first won the same competition with Porto to announce his arrival at the big stage. Last night his team stumbled over the line in the second-leg of their semi-final against Celta Vigo, to set up an exciting match-up against Ajax in Stockholm later this month. After hard away trips to City, Arsenal and Spurs in the last few weeks, Mourinho suggested that the Premier League fixtures were not random, but were in fact chosen.

Pochettino's men can still keep their hopes of finishing second though if they manage to earn a win against Mourinho's Man United. It will be tough for us and tough for them.

"The manager gave me one task: to stay with him [Alexis], and I seemed to do that quite well but again, we didn't win so it doesn't count as much. He accepts that because, especially, he has already played Europa League matches".

"Even the draw [for the fixtures], if it is a draw, I never understood well if it is a draw", Mourinho said.

In fact, Bailly's on par with the other two defenders regarded among the best in the league - Spurs pair Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.

"They support each other all the time".

"Hopefully Crystal Palace (United's final league opponents) don't need the last game, because in the last game I'm going to make a lot of changes and nobody can blame us because we have a final two days later".

And the player is said to have been given no reason by Pochettino for being dropped, to spark huge interest from both Manchester clubs.
