Dozens feared dead as bridge collapses in India

Fire and emergency services personnel were busy rescuing the suicidal woman, but some 50 people were watching their efforts from the bridge when it could not take their weight and collapsed.

Panaji: Two persons were drowned and one reported missing after a dilapidated foot bridge collapsed into a river in south Goa, officials said on Friday. "I soon saw many people gathered around me me on the bridge".
