Veteran actor and sitting BJP MP from Gurdaspur in Punjab Vinod Khanna died today morning in HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Mumbai after a hard battle with cancer. A large number of Bollywood personalities attended the last rites of veteran actor-turned-BJP politician Vinod Khanna at the Worli Hindu Crematorium here on Thursday evening.

Khanna's funeral was attended by his contemporary stars and filmmakers including Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Ramesh Sippy, Jackie Shroff, Saroj Khan among others. Karan Johar, SS Rajamouli and the entire team of Baahubali, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved, the legendary Vinod Khanna".
