Vivo V5s with 20MP front camera launched in India

Both the Vivo V5 and V5s comes with similar design and also packs nearly similar hardware.

The company has not issued any official statement on the price of the smartphone at the time of writing.

V5s runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 256GB. Pre-registrations for the phone will kick start today, and the first sale will happen on May 6. It features a 20MP + 8MP camera setup on the front for capturing high quality selfies along with the wide-angle view.

The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging to power the smartphone. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G support and there is VoLTE support as well. It will be available in Crown Gold and Matte Black color options. Vivo V5s is the third smartphone in the selfie series to launch in India from the company, which stresses on the selfie camera as the USP. However, the screen looks sharp and well-lit during our brief testing period and we hope it would a good job during our testing period.
